Experts in Turbomachinery
Our Services
Exintu Energietechnik SL is owned and operated by mechanical engineers with decades of experience in engineering and field services related to turbomachinery, mainly Steam and Gas Turbines.
We understand the need and urgency for these machines to operate reliably and our sole mission is to contribute to that through our expertise.
All projects, especially site projects, are closely followed and backed up with technical, engineering, and project management support to assure high-quality integral work, professionalism, and flexibility to adapt to changing conditions.
situations and to work alongside their maintenance and engineering teams.
OUR MACHINE
MB100 Transportable Machine
The MB100 is a transportable & customisable system that combines precision rotor machining and soft-bearing low-speed balancing in a single setup. Install fixtures, perform precision machining, then switch to balancing mode —all documented to EU 2023/1230 standards. This reduces logistics complexity, eliminates transport exposure & costs, and gives you direct control over the process.
Live It
With our 1:1 scale Augmented Reality model you are now capable of seeing how the machine would fit in your site. This allows you to physically considerate the machine and visualise what the first step towards operational independence looks like.
OUR SERVICES
We provide hands-on diagnostic and troubleshooting support for turbomachinery, going far beyond standard vibration analysis by combining rotor dynamics, vibration engineering, and structural expertise. Our team collaborates directly with your operation and maintenance staff to identify root causes and resolve issues efficiently, supported by documented case experience available upon request.
Low-speed balancing offers a practical, cost-efficient alternative to high-speed balancing, delivering comparable results thanks to our machine sensitivity and engineering expertise. Under OEM supervision, we consistently achieve ISO 1.0–level residual unbalance on rotors up to 100 tons, with a proven track record of eliminating the need for additional balancing at operating speed.
Some rotor maintenance tasks—such as seal removal, journal or shroud machining, blade tuning, bow correction, or coupling work—require placing large, high-value rotors on a lathe. We support these critical operations with a specialized transportable lathe and highly trained machinists, backed by documented case experience available upon request.
Steam turbine blade work is highly specialized and often defines the critical path of an outage, requiring strict installation, proper tooling, precision machining, and on-site balancing—capabilities our team delivers to ensure reliability and performance. When blade wear or damage demands corrective action, our blade-tuning process provides a proven, low-risk repair that minimizes downtime and preserves efficiency through field frequency measurements, FEA engineering, precision machining, and final balancing.
Rotor bowing can arise from thermal or operational issues and may require anything from slow-turn recovery to full removal and straightening, depending on severity and metallurgical condition. We apply proven on-site and facility-based straightening methods—including machining, localized heating, and thermal soaking—supported by detailed geometric and metallurgical evaluation, with documented success on rotors showing up to 1 mm TIR before final low-speed balancing.
Critical components such as diaphragms, bearings, and valves often require case-specific repairs or upgrades, especially when facing unusual operating conditions or long lead times for non-standard spare parts. We deliver tailored repair and upgrade solutions that restore reliability and performance while minimizing downtime across a wide range of turbomachinery components.
Precision alignment of couplings and turbines is critical to reliable machine operation, especially when handling heavy rotors and accounting for thermal effects, which is why we apply multiple alignment methods—including laser, rim and face, reverse, and traditional techniques—based on each case. Our engineers execute these time-sensitive tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency, reducing maintenance duration while ensuring proper mechanical condition.
